What is the BrewHaHa?
The BrewHaHa is a celebration of local craft beer & food backed by the killer local soul band, the Soul Crackers.
Nine local craft brewers paired with nine local chefs will celebrate the growth of craft beer here in our nation’s capital with a great band as part of the 7th Annual DC Beer Week which runs from August 9th through August 15th. Each brewery will feature two of their beers and the chef will create a dish that enhances both the beer and the food. Guests will be able to sample unlimited amounts of these creations in a large cocktail style party in the Atrium of the Old Ebbitt Grill. When and where is the BrewHaHa?
The party kicks off at 8:00pm on Saturday, August 15th and goes until 11:00pm at Old Ebbitt Grill, 675 15th Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20005. How do I buy tickets? Tickets are on sale now. You may purchase them on the Old Ebbitt Grill’s website at: Brewhaha Tickets. Tickets are $65 per person. When will I get my tickets? Actually, you won't be getting tickets at all. Your order WILL NOT be mailed to you. Instead, your tickets will be waiting for you at will call under your name on the day of the event. Please be prepared to provide a valid picture ID to pick up your tickets. What if I can't make the BrewHaHa or I need to give my ticket to someone else? You may go to our Ticket Transfer Page and find the tickets you would like to transfer. In order to successfully transfer the ticket(s), you will receive an email to the same email address to confirm the transfer. Upon confirmation, you and the new recipient will receive an email announcement the successful transfer. How do I know if I have tickets? How do I know if my order was confirmed? Anyone who would like to check their order can simply click this Confirm Tickets link to check on the exact details of your ticket order. What is included in my ticket? Your ticket includes entrance in the BrewHaHa and all the beer, food and music you can handle. There will also be some passed hors d'oeuvres available. Soul Crackers will be blowing up the room, belting out some sweet soul sounds of the greatest party music ever made. Is there a bar open to the guests at the BrewHaHa? No, there is only beer to be enjoyed. No other liquor will be served or available within the event What should I wear? Whatever makes you feel good. Get all dolled up or come in jeans and a t-shirt. We don’t care as long as you are there. Is there seating? Not really. While there are several small cocktail tables throughout the room, the BrewHaHa is a standing room only cocktail party. Besides, you'll be too busy drinking, eating and dancing to sit. Can I buy tickets at the door? Not likely as we expect the event to sell out quickly. We are only sell a limited amount of tickets for the event, and when they're gone, they're gone. Are tickets refundable? No. Do the Rolling Stones refund your tickets when your babysitter cancels at the last minute? Same rules apply at BrewHaHa. Your tickets are transferable and the details for the transfer are on this site. Is this a 21 year old and over only event?
Yes, due to the nature of the event no one under the age of 21 years old will be admitted to the BrewHaHa
Is there parking? Yes. The Ebbitt offers $10 valet parking. That said, we recommend that you use metro or stay at one of the great hotels around the Ebbitt. The Old Ebbitt Grill encourages safety and asks that you do not drink and drive. |
